Spent last night drinking red wine and doing more Space Trucking in Elite: Dangerous.

Took my new Hauler out for a spin and made some new jumps. Sucked at docking but at least I didn’t get assigned to any more occupied pads. Earned a bunch of credits and spent most of them refitting the Hauler to double its cargo capacity and almost triple it’s jump range.

Spent most of today at work looking at the game’s wiki, and determined I want to move my operation further out to the Colonia region. I have no idea how far that is or whether I can afford to get there, but it’s important to have goals!

Might have to reset my save and start over though because IIRC the last time I tried to play, I ended up ramming into the tower trying to leave the landing pad, and blew up

Got a(n) Xbox for free at work, finally picked up all the necessary cable to get it working.
I pickedup Orta, Gungriffon and Breakdown, and i have crimson skies and murakumo on hold, and im looking for otogi and gunvalkyrie. Is there anything else I should check out?

the sequel gets rid of all the worst parts of the first one (namely the awful controls + camera + graffiti minigame)

When you say Otogi you mean both of them, right? Because you should get both, and the second one is better than the first. Also the Kingdom Under Fire games are good, and SNK vs Capcom 2 if you like your fightman crossovers more SNK styled.
