I just played through the first third or so of the game and I have to say that Zem is still truly outrageous.

finished it. that last level was quite the surprise!

fwiw, i just uploaded version 1.1. turns out i had some pretty significant bugs in the editor that i was able to iron out.
also, i went ahead and decided to make the first loadable stage, which is a sort of level concept I didn’t really explore in the main game.

thanks for playing through it! and yeah, it’s always a tricky thing with these sorts of games figuring out how you can break the formula just enough to make a final/boss stage stand out to cap it off. i’m gonna credit fire ‘n’ ice as the inspiratoin for this one.
