Forever Deny Us Delight and Surprise - 2024 E3 remnant thread

i was Once Human too, before i watched Geoff Keighley streams

we’re at the point where i honestly am more invested in the other streams than the Geoff stream. not because the other streams are like bastions of quality to me either, but the stuff shown here generally aggressively does not appeal to me.

a fantasy rpg metaphor? yeah most fantasy rpgs have a lot of metaphors

in total, there are 40 types of archetypes that exist in this world. you must be one of the 40. which archetype are you?

I mean the tone of this stuff is what I find kinda interesting. The naked corporate disconnect was kinda fascinating in e3s of old and even some directs but these Geoff or collective events seem to struggle with identity beyond a vague unity around desiring financial success for every single thing shown whilst simultaneously being propped up by large advertising payments

the way people talk about indie developers as like these saintly figures holding up videogames and “caring about developers” these days is such gaslighting lol. they really don’t give a shit, it’s just something you have to say now.

You can hear the audience dial turn to mute so quickly when Meta Quest is mentioned

lmao, that’s not a pop music drop i expected

despite all my rage i’m still just a bat in a cage

scotland mentioned

Dragon meteor coded as The English

new power levels? in dragonball??

i wish i could reclaim new possibilities

the dragon ball trailer is so hype. that’s how you do it, just screaming guitar metal and characters yelling at each other while powering up.

shit, they’ve got a flamethrower”

the classic situation. we’ve all experienced it many times.

also i like the building design in this military game, too bad it’s a fash military game

Finally, the black hawk down experience america has been craving

when will the shooting at protestors DLC come out? what about the “mow blue-haired college students down with your car” mode?

i know i associate incredibly shrill dubstep with cutesy anime ancient greeks, don’t you?

thinking about how each one of these trailers cost $250k-$500k a pop just to show
