you guys bay area rap is so good. being back here and everyone is blasting fucking quality shit out of their cars constantly. a lot of people in Seattle listen to e40 and keak and mac dre, which is fantastic but I miss the deep cuts. I miss home
like you hear this everywhere
but you only hear this in oakland

okay I fucking love rap Iām sorry Iāll stop⦠I know these are the obvious choices
this is not excessive at all it really is the best music this isnāt even 0.00001% of the good shit
thank you for making my posts seem so quaint
holy shit did you post 50 songs
Well, it is a birthday celebration
I had to burn everyoneās copies of three 6 mafia and fiend presents Da Headbussaz āDatās How It Happen toāMā because I had the version of āGet The Fuck Out My Faceā with the moby sample intact, apparently they took it out of the official release.
They did! If you try to listen to this on Spotify as of a few years ago it sounds like dog shit because itās some royalty free sample, you need the CD still
I thought I posted this in my big post but I was busy literally crying while listening to this because speaker knockerz died incredibly tragically when he was 19
its such a sweet song with good vibes! He made this when he was only 13!!! And it sucks because every time I hear it now im happy but Iām also so sad, and I think I have such a visceral reaction because we were basically the same age when he died
Hell yeah!
rescued this from the trash to serve as general hip hop thread, hope folks donāt mind
been listening to a ton of hanumankind recently. of course thereās the TikTok hits but his lesser known songs are fire also. nice to see south indian diaspora (sort of, he was born in Kerala but raised in Houston for a bit) blow up internationally
my friend is trying to put me on to Westside Gunn
also Iām constantly waiting for bandmanrill to put out something that hits like this again. drill over jersey club beats is so good
throw some Dās beat is immortal⦠and I still listen to 2006 T.I.
