idk, legit re-streams on Y-Tube are highly unlikely, or rather going to be kicked more or less regularly, depending on protectionism needs by the ACO.
fwiw, I’ve booked the FIA WEC full season pass thingie, because i tend to watch these races at least twice (once live if possible, second time for reading the race/strategies) and if i am spending up to 50 hours+ watching these races, might as well finance it for others (after all, they’re uploading the whole races on ytube for free after a few weeks) and avoid the hassle of Streams w/ bad quality, stuttering/being killed etc.
ooof, if i wouldn’t be hosting the annual Le Mans Party (guess i have mentioned a few times that has been happening since 2000, and if a very loose definition would be applied, 1999 included) this would be a new thing I’ve never tried before (a.k.a sth to test to up the ante!)
What's an absolute must during the weekend though (from Saturday 1500 CEST, i.e. UTC+2) is Tuning into Radiolemans.co and listening to their reporting:
(“Listen Live” should be somewhere around the top of the page)
Since they have been doing this for decades and consider the ‘cannot watch, am on the move’ crowd, you’ll get the most useful Info for free (and as far as i can tell from years and years of listening, in the US of As with Sirius XM anywhere you go over there?) and we have been covering gaps (out for grabbing food, moving to other places for re-geouping etc.) quite often with it.
Only Thing to remember is, via website you have to make sure to listen to the correct stream, sometimes they have other races going on in parallel and you wonder which race they arw watching…
I’d call it even part of the experience to tune in to RadioLM to listen to ol’ Trusswells statistics-extravaganza and get a read onto the race you’d otherwise miss, as it happens instead of reading about it few days after it happened and has been deciphered by pundits.
If nothing else, this is sth everyone CAN do and learn about the race w/o any HQ streams or even broadband-width available!
it’s nice that they’re starting to electric cars that could accept practically drop-in solid state batteries in the same chassis to make them truly great
I honestly think the FL4 is the more interesting version, because of its hybrid drivetrain and slightly less embarrasing rear fender/tail area. Might become my next daily if the V6 doesn’t pass the MOT (which is highly likely atm)
Just a couple more days and my Cruze will be gone.
Had a lot of features I liked.
If it’d had the 2.0 diesel motor I might’ve tried to make the payments work, but that 1.4L Turbo is probably the worst motor GM’s put out in the last 60 years. The head’s been cracked and sealed and it has a perpetual oil leak on the bottom. I figure it’s not too far away from becoming a blackhole of fixing things that just make other things need fixing. A proper long term solution to repairing the head is a minimum $2K dollar investment.
The 2008 CRV, though, is owned full and in the clear, has 206k miles, and needs a tune up and some minor repair work (passenger window motor is out and the lock for the hatch requires a bit more hands-on manipulation that it probably should). There some minor cosmetic damage, too. Pretty close to needing a set of tires.
But if you fill it up with gas and make sure the oil is maintained, it runs okay and gets a pretty large percentage of the gas mileage the Cruze does.
