Fading Brakelight Obscurity III - Green-Orange-Checkered Edizione

i take back what i said about circuit experiences in 7. in sport, they had full narration and took you turn-by-turn, explaining what you should do and why. in GT7 they don’t do any of that, it’s just broken up into sectors and you can watch a demo if you want. not even a text box with a few scant tips.

y’all only added like 3 new tracks, you already had this 90% done, you just can’t be bothered?

Yeah I just gave up and went back to FH5 where I’ve happily unlocked like 15 sweet cars in as long as it took for GT7 to let me look at an escalator

All I wanted was a list of prepared races with entry requirements some of which are arranged into cups to ratchet up THE TENSION.

Nothing spoils my mood more than a game patting me on the head. Or doing the office hell mandatory fun thing like a forza music festival. The moment an in game talking head or voice says “good job” or shows my avatar thingy on a stage being congratulated (unless its like mario kart and its cute) all my cheer vanishes.

I guess I just hate like “service talk”. Id love an option to have a rude host or shop rando who is like YOU FUCKING LOST? AGAIN? YOU CANNOT POSSIBLY TUNE YOUR WAY OUT OF THIS ONE!

this image is what got my hyped: Bring on the Japanese nightscape dad jazz.

a MENU with BAD organization that I will learn spatially because my work life is organized UI and pleasant corporate baby communication and I need a break. I want it. I wanna scroll the map over to the European cup.

Any way, thank you everyone who bought this game so I don’t have to.

The world map menu is the worst marketing fuck up of the whole thing. It’s cool if you want to do something different but don’t set Gran Turismo 4 expectations if you’re gonna do that.

I figured it out, you have to back out to the title screen and the stories are on the bottom and you can highlight them and bring them up. I only know this because my console updated the firmware and I had to boot back into the game

Has anyone seen anything about endurance races being in this game? I am still stuck on this stupid Ferrari Cup so I haven’t beaten the game yet and I’ve only seen one and a half in the missions (30 laps Tsukuba, 24 minutes of Le Mans). Would be weird if GT Sport had endurance races and not this one but at this rate I wouldn’t be shocked anymore

I’m glad that this gives me, the guy who thought GT Sport was extremely underrated at $20, more ammunition

maybe they needed some UX people working on the game

came way too close to double posting the Lexus UX joke, but decided to restrain myself… so am I pro-UX now, or anti-UX?

(in any case, love the tail-lights on the UX

the sheer audacity of including a challenge where you have to drive a crown vic on a japanese highway without hitting the walls

anyways gt5 is boring and antiseptic and I think that’s what I expect from a car game? maybe that’s mistake for only playing odd numbered GT games.

Amused by the timing of this patch:

This is literally the 5th time this week I have referred to GT7 as GT5. I just can’t get it into my head that they kept making more of these after 5.

New console generation release means they focus on graphics and fumble the rest. When 8 finally does come out they’ll actually have to make a good campaign as the new generation hangover will be over.

Still, any time I’m actually driving, I love this game!

What’s the full list of PSN usernames for people playing GT7? I want more track times on my friends list to humble me.

What happens when you’re done with all the menus? Are there still new races or is it just pick a track and a car and go from there?
