Fading Brakelight Obscurity II - Championship Edition (Part 1)

it’s nice to see that coach-building survived in the 21st century, if anything.

now THAT’S what i’d call a high five ace…

in other news,

ACC GT4 field has been put out a few weeks ago, didn’t catch that… but boy, do I look forward to shove the opposition out of the way in the two-storey Camaro by virtue of them not registering as a blip on the radar below the engine cover threshold.

Also, multi-class racing, yay :metal::sunglasses::metal:

I tried to find this car in BeamNG.Drive, which would be your best bet, but it doesn’t look like anyone’s made it. You can totally make shit like this in Automation though (probably, never tried it myself), then export it to BeamNG.Drive. I have not futzed with it too much but there are 8000 of them, including the recently posted Suzuki Cappuccino:

they’re not as great as the cars built into or specially made for BeamNG.Drive, specifically around the crushability and shit. They don’t have, like, steering wheels or seats or anything, so they end up looking a bit like toy cars. But from the outside (and before you smash them) they’re pretty cool, and the handling seems to reflect the cars pretty well from my limited experience.

i’m not a car person so i’m no expert on any of this, but it does seem neat.

(when you smash them it just deforms the model so you can get some very, very funny looking smooshed cars)

to balance the world of ruin that i created by posting some old blokes hypermiling a prius 4, let’s see what some TOM-bloke from Japan does with it…

ambitious, but still not exactly mad men material.

now we’re talking.
But wait, you say, a mid-engined Prius is not allowed anymore?
Well, why not cram a five litre V8 into the front of the PHEV version then:

… and sounds like the real deal, too…

from browsing through the list:

Hydropneumatic Suspension + french car == 50+50 == 100, rest is just minor points (color) here and there…

(still, having a combination of station wagon, front engined FF petrol V6 NA + automatic should not net me so many 0’s, but i asked for it,… so eh, c’est la vie, at least > 100, feel lucky today :officersonic: )
