i’m sure you all know about that skating game (i think) that has a mystery that can’t be fully solved for another hundred years
i think one of the first (maybe even the first) would be pimania which offered a golden sundial to the first people to solve it, and two women did, two years after it was rleased.

The trials evolution stuff is so cool and the “hidden” stuff in fusion is so comparatively in your face and totally orthogonal to a fun way of playing the game

Green Sonya in original Mortal Kombat always filed me with wonder. It was so esoteric I figured there was more to it than that.
