GREAT HITS [ グレイト ヒッ ] for SONY PLAYSTATION by SACOM published by ENIX
I wish that game was better, but at least we have this immaculate art
In the UK, at least certain releases of Gran Turismo 2 and FIFA 2001 for PS1 had “scratch and sniff” disc art: GT2 was supposed to smell like a pit stop, and FIFA 2K1 like a soccer field.

Reminiscing about buying loose famicom games from the $5 bin solely based on the label, from the store that briefly existed in my hometown 10 years ago. It was fun to take a chance back when I didn’t know what they all were and if they were playable in english or not. (Vs. now that I know about every game that has ever existed.) These are all the ones that I can remember.
Daiva. This is a game for readers only. Didn’t it get a switch release recently? Important reminder that Toemiland is just a play on TOshiba EMI.
Kyonshiizu 2. This probably wouldn’t be playable even if I could read it.
Valis. Can you imagine the excitement of seeing this label & not knowing anything about the game or about Valis? It’s so evocative. And it did kinda live up to expectations. Playing this bad port opened the door to Telenet stuff, more about the PC engine, etc.
This game has no text but it sucks big time.
This was a very lucky pick. Hi no Tori. nice game
This overhead action-adventure might be playable without being able to read all the text, but I’m pretty sure it sucks. Dragon Scroll
The laces are bowties. This changes everything.
“dream fruit platter”?
My word, what a work of beauty
the colours~
