The Simpsons: Hit & Run (PS2)
I like this cover at about this size, ~ size it came up in PCSX2. At larger sizes https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps2/914690-the-simpsons-hit-and-run/boxes/51854 , I like it less. I guess I care less about the details, and the Disney soft colored line style on parts seems out of place. Apparently I just like big Homer J. : P
Art by Matt Groening, actually? His signature is on there in the lower left, anyway. Most of it doesn’t strike me as his particular style, especially that perspective toon police car. Maybe his contract just says he gets his name on stuff somewhere. Or maybe he did do the whole illustration, what do I know. But Mobygames only has him down as a “Creative consultant” for the game The Simpsons: Hit & Run credits (PlayStation 2, 2003) - MobyGames . There’s some discussion of the cover credit here: Bart's blue shirt on the cover art. | Topic | DT Forum .

I used to hate this look but I think I’ve come around on it, I think they perfectly intentionally did the pre-rendered thing for this sort of over-the-top goofy effect. ^ _^
