I remember liking the PS2 box so much it became the first console box I did not throw away. I can blame it on my hoarding tendencies today.

i also had this promo booklet thing for the ps2 that was the same solid blue, heavy stock. kept it for years. it’s probably still at my mom’s somewhere.

That loadrunner box art lodged itself in my head from when I was six in the (inexplicably located in the united states) Futureshop computer game aisle. I remember thinking it looked really freaky at the time, and remember a strange sensation of relief upon finally IDing the game on home of the Underdogs years later and and knowing what I had seen as a child.
the controllers came in a shrunk down version of that box, too
yeah all the peripherals matched, even like the official scart cable

I think Lady Sword for PC Engine may be the opposite of dope but it’s just so tacky and bootleg and horny in the lamest way that I kinda love it.
