The only redeeming thing about deathcore is the use of neon green/purple/orange color pallets. I should paint a warhammer army with that.

Yeah deathcore bands tend to have good taste in commissioning artists. Itβs the only genre where the default, traditional, accepted look is loud, hyper technical, futuristic, detailed, weird, scary and colorful. Which is pretty sad if you think about it. Because they never have the textural creativity to sound like the album art for more than a second or two. Other genres donβt conventionally set themselves up for failure like that.
