I wish I understood why the environments of both Nier games leave me void of feeling; not awe, not mourning; it just feels like it hasn’t yet congealed. And wandering empty architecture is one of my favorite things in games!

The lighthouse in Nier was one of my favorite bits; coziness ensconced in starkness.
