looked this up out of curiosity since it’s fågel in swedish and so fugl might not be a play on anything at all. and yeah, turns out fugl is icelandic

This sent my brain for a loop because what little I learnt of German reminded me that “flug” means flight, right? So is this game making a joke about how all these loosely related languages are just shifting the Fs and Gs and Ls around to talk about the same thing or what. But it’s just the Icelandic factor wow @_@

i feel like arms + wings is an underrated humanoid bird design, we are all so accustomed to the arms = wings version that we often fail to consider how unsettling it is. what are their fingers made of

i still like the little Sky Kid guys even though it’s hard to make them out ingame. i guess a bird flying a plane makes as much sense as a biped using a car or something
as we can determine from this flier, birds are actually one of the original fundamental simulation genres
