Checked up on my favorite Finnish fiends, Circle of Ouroborus this mourning… Turns out they have three new records in 2022 and I decided to immediately listened to All of them in release order almost Uninterrupted.
They do their thing of making metal danceable very well early. Track 7 is a standout jam. Becomes a really chill and heady record later on… takes you to a dungeon zone, really good sounds.
Haunting. A continuation of their 2011 offering, 11 Fingers, my no joke favorite record of all time, and they dig deeper into the vein, generously. A bit dense but beyond the fog there are many pretty things to notice and adore here. This is a cave VERY worth digging into if you like this band.
And then…Ok
So, I did not expect this when I started writing this post. This record is amazing. You should dance to this with your dearest friend(s). Riffs are nature’s purest candy and such good riffs are rare. Heavy and gentle. Every track is good.
