If you meet the character Pocket with Sawyer they say it’s a cute name before the brass knuckles transform into a cat. 
Wow, this must be doing all its business on Switch, or it exists only as a talking point, because the Steam numbers are way smaller than that twitter engagement implies.

I would like if Game Pass kept up this kind of game so I guess I’ll leave it idling on my Xbox and PC to do my part for their engagement (jk)

The final boss is a cat-katana-person homunculus dressed like a weeaboo version of the Joker that you defeat by choosing ego injury dialogue choices with Eric.

‘Hours of engagement’ is the metric they care about; it’s what they want to hear in a pitch and what their bonus pool is based on.

We’ve each 100%’d it in my household once I figured out you can use the license signed out on your “home” Xbox lol
They pushed two stretch goal characters to paid DLC which seems frankly strange for an indie these days but I hope it finds an audience outside of the tinderbox of tenderqueers.

It’s so hard to tell who this audience is - it sure seems like most of them haven’t played the game and have no interest in it.

i saw someone on twitter upset that you couldn’t totally disable the “events of stalking and emotional manipulation” in the story as an accessibility option which i found kind of i dunno, a bummer i guess. i know i’ve seen others post here about the lack of friction in a lot of games that present themselves as inclusive being a little insulting but it does seem like the majority of people who’ve played it are enjoying this.

It’s a bummer because I want to read people talking about the game! I was leery the other direction (tokenizing/anodyne/infantilized) and totally wrong. It rules. I’m ride or die for it.
