actually now that i think about it, i may only like walljumps in N, where they’re tied to your momentum (in fact you can die by hitting the ceiling too hard), and they become relevant to making jumps far beyond your avatar’s scale.

in megamanx or super metroid it becomes boring once you realise you can basically go anywhere

Guys and gals it’s on to the next fight/game. First thingie is done and selling and I’ve already been working on the “sequel” since July. Now is when I begin counting down the six months I plan to develop this game for. So if things go according to plan I’ll be selling again in February 2020. I love selling games now. It’s almost as much fun as making them. Almost.

I’m trying to step up my porn game game and really make this one good. Something to be proud of. Let’s do it!

Does your game have pictures? If so do you draw them yourself, and if not (which I think because I don’t think you’ve ever mentioned being a visual artist), who draws them for you? What kind of a relationship is that?

It’s true, I can’t draw for shit! But I can use a computer and use sliders and 3D programs are so advanced that that’s almost all you need to create, pose and render a scene, so I do that.

The Dream would be to work with a really talented 2D artist because I find that art more erotic than 3D stuff, leaves more to the imagination of you do it right. But the thing is, I’m not connected enough to be able to get someone to work with me AND I’d have to design the game completely differently. Because give me a month and I can crank out hundreds of 3D images that look nice. A 2D artist is never going to match that. I can adjust a figure’s pose, swing the camera around and render the scene in 30 minutes, whereas a 2D artist would have to draw everything from scratch and no way are they going to be that fast.

So yes, I am now a visual artist of sorts. I’ve gotten praise for my renders from several different people. People who don’t know 3D art and people who create it themselves. I’m feeling pretty good about it and all it really took was photography basics, which I know because I took courses some years back.

What I’m getting into now is 3D animation, which is a different beast altogether but I think it will make my game stand out more. I’ve had some small successes with that already and it’s not too hard to get simple scenes together. Of course it takes a lifetime to master but I just narrow the scope and it’s working out for me.

I sometimes wonder about working together with other people and I hope I can at least afford freelancers at some point. But what is it like to work with perverts on perverted stuff? It’s gotta be awkward, at least at first, I imagine. To get back to The Dream: I think I’d like to work mostly with women, for a different perspective. I played a couple of porn games that I feel like were mostly made by women but I can’t be sure. They were awesome. I’d love to make porn games for women too but that’s a difficult task because, first, women don’t often pay for porn and second, I can’t do it without women working on the game and there are few female porn artists to go around. Or maybe they just know to hide their identities, idk
