superandroidtron 3 weeks ago Toy Story's title screen and credits songs are actually standard 4-channel Amiga MODs being played back with software mixing and pitch adjustment through resampling! You can actually overwrite those songs in the ROM with any other standard MOD file that fits and it will play (assuming it doesn't do anything too weird, the player isn't 100% ProTracker compatible).

This is real cool. I don’t real have the technical knowledge to understand it fully so all I have to contribute is that listening to the video is reminding a lot of how many GBA games’ music sounds. I’m guessing because the lack of a sound chip those were pretty much all lofi sampling?

Amazing.

Very much appreciating a playback platform that lets me isolate individual tracks

Yeah, this is crazy! How have I not seen/heard about this before?

Thanks for the links, creep (lol)

Yesss this is an all time personal gamejam great

Funny to me that the GB arrangement is the best for its in-the-face waves
