I heard speculation from @LWJoestar that this is an isekai which will be hilariously polarizing if true
this is what it deserves
I got a podcast ad for FF7R that said nothing about the game except that it has two graphics modes on the PS5. Now that’s what I call dire.
Just posting this for the music because Advance Wars had wicked music. I’d probably just play the GBA version if I want to play Advance Wars because I like the sprites better.
metroids evolved into gluten

comes out in november, has zelda, zelda 2, link’s awakening, and vermin
didn’t think this was how I’d notice I forgot to buy flour at the grocery store today
If the Game & Watch were being relaunched as Nintendo’s sort of budget-friendly GameBoy handheld surrogate that will give people access to older, untouched games that appeared on the NES, GBA, SNES, etc. as they can acquire the licenses (much like the SNES Online shit on the Switch) via digital download, then I would be down for paying $50 for this thing. Like, I think SNES Online is cool, but I’m not taking my Switch on the train. I’d take my hypothetical smaller, cheaper $50 Game & Watch on the train, though. (ETA: I wouldn’t bring my 3DS on the train, that’s also too expensive to just pull out on the train!)
I’d definitely probably get one of these used at some point down the line.
There’s a good chance one of those used is gonna cost more than $50 though.
Then I’m problyfine passing altogether!
i feel like i didn’t have a ton of problems locating the Mario G&W when it launched, but maybe i just got lucky. i found one at a Gamestop like a month or so into its initial release, but i do understand now that they’re harder to find. maybe the Zelda G&W will have more scalpers, though
if nintendo were smart, they’d be putting a ton of games on these, and positioning them as a legit replacement for all the £5 nes rom handhelds on aliexpress and the like
but i guess even these versions sell out every time so they don’t really need to compete?
The Mario G&Ws are everywhere now. I’ve spotted them at Target and Best Buy since peeking out of hiding in the last 2-3 weeks. I was fearing a NES Classic situation but it looks like despite that initial scarcity, they’re out there.
Reading the synopsis from that Steam listing makes me want to watch Casshern Sins again
we’re really starting to get the stuff I’ve always wanted, Moon and Mizzurna Falls and now this and my list is getting shorter…
Cracks Neck time to start translating SegaGaGa (falls over dead.)
