Well, what did Rare Lawyer and Legendary Lawyer have to say about Epic Lawyer’s comments, and were they just as enthusiastic?

Because of power creep, Rare Lawyer is too low-tier to ever be allowed to speak in a trial so they’re relegated to the back office

Why is Epic lawyer offering testimony

This whole trial is out of order

this one is legit imo, just played the first ~third on remote play together with a friend

it reminds me a lot of broforce in that it’s a looser, more stylized metal slug but the difference is that this game is … actually good. they managed to nail the balance between “fun and not frustrating in co-op without having to credit feed” and “actually responsive and challenging to expectations of old shooters.”

Huntdown is really good. I need to go back and finish it on PS4. Think I’m almost halfway through on my solo play through. Surprisingly good cover shooting mechanics that translate well to 2d. But it’s really the whole aesthetic and the artwork that sells it. That it has great mechanics is almost secondary for me.

This is pretty nuts. Anything to stop generating stylised concept art in lieu of a photo database to have a similar effect for more fantastical designs? Seems like this could lead to some cool aesthetics outside of realism too.

From the video it looks like they have to pass the algorithm more than just image data – it uses like surface normals (e.g. the vector that represents the “out” or perpendicular direction from each surface in the picture), lighting data, depth, etc to produce the end result so concept art wouldn’t have enough metadata to work. I suspect this is the reason it’s much more temporally stable than previous methods, because it has more data it can use to track objects.

congratulations you made a neural network which makes GTA V for PC look almost exactly like GTA IV for Xbox 360

Maybe it’s just because I’m so used to people sending me those ghastly neural network “enhanced” silent films, but abdicating the act of making something with known limitations into something “more realistic” to automated software really rubs me that wrong way.
